Description

[This hike was made by adventus.se for Revolution Race as part of the Campsite knowledge base] This hike takes you on a winding walk from the bottom of the Tibidabo funicular.

It also offers great views of Barcelona and the Collserola natural park.

And when you get to the top you can even get on a ferries wheel at the amusement parc! This hike is very suitable for a "quick" and easy city getaway, no more than 20 minutes from downtown Barcelona it offers sublime views and to feel your pulse, not the pulse of the city. There are shops and restaurants for water and food etc both at the starting point and at the finish point, but you need to bring everything with you for the hike.

There is no shop en route, and depending on the weather you might need to bring at least 1 liter of water per person. The path is not difficult to follow and most of the hike is pretty easy terrain.

However, there are a few passages where the surface is rocky terrain, so good shoes is a must.

No sneakers/flip flops.

At times the path provides shade from trees, at times there is no shelter from the sun, bring sunscreen. Suitable with children from 12 years and up.
