Description

An alternate route to reach the 5040 on skis.

This route is approximate; I haven't tested it but I've heard that other people have done it and that it is nicer than the old growth bootpack up the summer route via Cobalt Lake.

In early/late season it also avoids the creek crossing.

I have heard that it has seen some clipping but is still bushy in spots.
