Description

On the North face of Twenty-Five Short is the Broken Thumb Couloir, an incredibly narrow and dangerous couloir through massive cliffs.

The crux, which is in the bottom half of the couloir, is so steep and narrow that it usually requires ropes to get down past it.

It may not be filled in at all, or it may be solid ice.

You don't want to venture into this run from the top unless you know it's filled in all the way and you have the necessary gear to handle a rappel.

Avalanche danger is extremely high.
