Description

Ski off the left side of Upper Butternut, preferably up near the lift.

Ski the entire face until you reach the bottom of the valley.

Follow the base of the valley to the main glade.

BE CAREFUL: The Orchard Entrance is an extremely steep face with several hazards! This is no way a marked run and is against regulations to ski through.

The glade is full of debris and natural hazards.

It is very, very common for one to get lost in the valley and end up hiking out, exhausted and injured.

If you get hurt, no one will be able to save you.

DO NOT go alone! Only enter if 110% confident!
