Description

If you're craving a swift skitour with a dash of excitement, then the N Face of the Bürgle is definitely a quick win.

This face offers multiple alternatives, all of them more or less steep, but never too technical, eagerly awaiting your descent. Start from the Untere Gantrischhütte, following the trail towards the Morgetepass.

In icy conditions, consider ski crampons for the brief traverse to reach the Morgetepass.

As you approach the summit, follow the SE ridge and the gentle slopes will take you to the summit. Descend in the N face, initially towards the right, traversing left under the summit.

Alternatively, a quicker entry into the face is possible—150-200 meters at 40°—before rejoining the lower part of the classic route.

Unleash the power of your skis, thrilling in good powder conditions.

The real question is: Can you resist returning for another round?
