Note: The Babines generally do not get a deep snow pack and are victim to harsh winds.

For this reason, most of the routes in this area are not inductive of good skiing until later in the season; and even then be cautious of a weak facetted snowpack in shallow areas. This is the route from the winter parking lot (end of the plowed road) to the cabin.

If the roads are clear it is possible to drive to the summer parking lot which shaves 4km off the commute, but be carful not to get snowed in or you'll be there till spring.
