Description

Cotopaxi Bike Park is one of the best places to ride a mountain bike in the country of Ecuador! This small but mighty bike park features expertly-built trails ripping through the thick forest of a pine plantation.

These well-maintained trails are a welcome breath of fresh air compared to some of the rugged, washed-out trails found further out in the backcountry in Ecuador. The route shown here is one of the best intermediate runs through the bike park.

Connecting Venado Blanco to Chucuri Veloz, this flowy romp is easily rideable, even by lower intermediate riders.

Even so, the dialed-in flow, manicured berms, and small jumps make it a true crowd-pleaser! Cotopaxi Bike Park is open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

It costs $10 to enter the bike park, and if you don't want to pedal to the top, shuttle runs cost an additional $5 per shuttle, split between all the occupants of the truck.

The truck can comfortably fit 4 people.

They also offer a great restaurant at the base area for snacks and lunch, a bike wash, bathrooms, and a few expertly-built jump lines.
