Description

I didn't end up finishing this hike because It took me a while to find the trail and when I did, it was getting dark but a few important notes for the hike. 1.

There is no signal at the start of this hike so make sure you can navigate without a GPS. 2.

The railroad at the start is active!! Listen for horns while crossing. 3.

The entrance is difficult to find and there weren't many footprints to follow.

I started by following a blazer to what looked like a trail, but after following it a ways I realized it was too overgrown to be the trail.

For the actual trail you will want to walk along the tracks and past the tunnel.

After the tunnel, there is a 4+ foot stone wall that you must climb over to continue the trail. I didn't get far into the trail before turning around, but as I've seen from overlays and pictures, the rest of the hike looks relatively easy and beautiful.

The falls appear to be a pretty decent size and the drive through the valley is beautiful.
