Description

Climb two difficult mixed pitches to gain access to the couloir proper.

In dry conditions these can be avoided by rock climbing the beginning of the Gervasutti pillar on the climber's right. Climb 6 ice pitches inside the couloir, the last being the steepest.

Either abseil down from here on bolted anchors, or continue up easier ground to the top.
