Description

This walk begins with a 3 km walk up Tasahe Drive before turning off onto some up and down bush tracks through the Rove catchment area.

When you reach a feeder stream to Rove Creek, you will be rock hopping along the creek bed (flowing in sections) until you reach another feeder stream that you will follow upstream pass a small waterfall (flowing in the wet season).

You will then follow the steam up to Titingge Ridge and descend into the next valley on the other side of the road along a well-trodden trail that follows a natural drain through a couple of small villages down to the next creek.

Cross over the bridge and follow the concrete path and stairs up to the top end of Lengakiki.

The last stretch is a shortcut through the bush into the back of the Botanical Gardens before a final water crossing and climb back up to Ngossi Ridge.

You will get wet feet on this walk.
