Description

Nearly 6000' from the summit to the lake, Mount Moran's Skillet Glacier route is one of the finest ski descents in North America.

Due to the avalanche hazard mid-winter, the best time to score this line in powder and stable conditions is March through early-April, when the lake is still frozen over.

This can be done in a single push, but camping overnight and skiing multiple lines makes for a more pleasant experience.
