Description

San Clemente Beach boasts long stretches of soft, golden sand and is popular with families, surfers, and sun-seekers alike, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

This out-and-back hike along it will give you some insight into why it's so popular. The coastal bluffs at San Clemente Beach provide stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island, and as you stroll along the sand there are plenty of picnic areas at which to stop and admire the view.

We'd also recommend checking out the San Clemente Pier, a popular attraction that extends 1,296 feet into the ocean and which provides an excellent little detour from the sand.
