The hike starts from the parking lot at 43 meters above sea level and follows the first 100 meters on the tractor path along the river, then a 30-meter stretch of rocks along the river before you see a pole. Take a left and you'll see a new black sign pointing towards Jakta. When entering the plateou at the top of the treeline, keep to the right of the Risenosa-massif. Ascend the southeast-facing slope until reaching the entrance of the couloir. For the final approach, it's best to boot the last 400 meters until reaching the start of the couloir. At the upper section of the colour, there is a cornice that makes the entrance difficult. Using a rope and a short rappel can ease the entrance, but is usually not necessary. While skiing the colour, keep skier's right all the way down for a safe descent. There are some exposed areas with terrain ranging from 40-50 degrees.
