Description

Experience everything that the Highlands can throw at you on a route that traverses more than 80% on private land.

This includes 4-kays on the notoriously bad Kruisfontein district road, aka 4x4 Jeep track, and 8 kays on the tarred section of the Kruisfontein district road while ascending the Highlands.

The start and finish will traverse the unique and scenic Robsons bush tunnels and trails. Prepare for three extreme downhill sections on the Highlands cement road, the Dullstroom Country Estate paved access road, and the paved descent to Land's End in Highland Gate.

The 4-kay single-track section through Kareekloof is a first-ever for MTBs - the front riders will fly through this section; the back markers will be more cautious to prevent an unexpected swim.

The Driehoek section along the Crocodile River will be spectacular.
