Description

Ascent: No approach, as you start the climb right from the car.

Head upwaards into the valley-formation, keep hugging the right, and turn left when you reach the first plateau.

From there you can see the main route on the left, and slightly steeper gully to the right. The gully is steeper than 30 degrees and the runout from this is the only real avalanche hazard on the way up.

Depending on conditions, cross quickly under the gully and switchback up the left side. The top of the mountain is quite flat and it`s easy to lose your bearings.

Head for the highest point. Descent: From the top, you can either go further, down on the other side, see "Eidvågtind, Tindstua loop" or go back down the way you came up. If you want it a little steeper, seek out the gully on skiers left as you apporach the steeper parts. The route often has good snow late in the season, and it`s not uncommon to ski powder in may.
