Description

Stretching approximately 15 miles from the town of Woodland Park to the stunning Rampart Reservoir, the Centennial Trail is a great option for hiking or mountain biking.

The trail follows a road for its entire length so just picking a section to complete is simple enough.

As you journey along the Centennial Trail, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking views of towering Ponderosa pines, rugged rock formations, and sweeping mountain vistas.

The trail meanders through diverse landscapes, offering plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Colorado wilderness. Wildlife is abundant along the Centennial Trail, and there is interpretive signage along the trail providing information about the area's history, geology, and ecology.

On the hike you can learn about the region's rich mining heritage, as well as the diverse ecosystems that thrive in the Rocky Mountains.
