Description

Beautiful tour through Karwendel national park and past the famous Achensee for those based in Innsbruck.

This version you start with taking your bike on the train from Innsbruck to Scharnitz, then bike through Karwendel to Jenbach and then home along the river Inn.

It is easy to also take the train from Jenbach back to Innsbruck if you are not feeling it.

Most of the track is on good, wide gravel or dirt roads with almost no exposure, some of it is even on asphalt.

Only one or two steep down sections can feel scary if you are not used to that kind of terrain (and would be quite dangerous to fall there).
