The rather flat old path used to be one of the first connections between Blagoevgrad, Macedonia hut and the Monastery. There is a small eco hotel at the Vladichina meadow (search facebook for Вила Владичина поляна - Рилски манастир). It is possible to continue beyond the indicated trail.
