Description

Presented by [Gemini Adventures](https://geminiadventures.com/), the Desert RATS Kokopelli 150 is possibly the most epic adventure race in the west.

As the longest-running stage race in North America, this week-long adventure is designed to test both mental and physical limits of even the most seasoned athletes. Stage 3 of the Desert RATS Kokopelli is both the shortest, and least least challenging.

Just over 9 miles, racers face 750' of climbing, much of which rolls through remote farms and pastures.

"Although there are many twists and turns, the footing is good and will make it a short, fast day," according to Gemini Adventures.

With the Expedition Stage to follow, Stage 3 the racer's opportunity to stretch out their legs and gather their thoughts before the 41-mile mountain stage on Thursday. Unlike the previous stages, there are no aid stations or water drops on Stage 3.
