Description

Head to the Hotel du Buet and start ascending the slopes to the right of the ski lift. Follow the valley towards Mont Buet on either the right or left side of the bank until you reach the refuge of the Pierre Bérard (1924m). Take the ESE slopes below the Salenton pass then traverse across the E flank until you reach a small pass around 2540m. Take care when ascending the couloir as skiers may already be on their way down. Continue along SE side until 2700m.

To reach the summit, use the SE slopes which aren't as steep.

Descend the same way using the preferred right-hand bank. This route is extremely popular!
