Description

The magic of the mountains - Once again the curtain rises, one last time the Dolomites show their full presence.

Open your eyes for another top-notch sightseeing tour through the Unesco World Heritage Site.

First, a climb up to the Karer Pass, which is the trench between Rosengarten and Latemar and marks the border between Südtirol and Trentino.

Further on the route passes the Karer Lake, a postcard idyll and definitely one of the most photographed Alpine lakes.

From Moena, down in the Fassatal, the route climbs up to Alpe Lusia, from where you can already see the destination, Pale di San Martino.

The magic will take you across the mountain pasture to Val Venigia, an amphitheatre with a lasting wow effect in front of the jagged peaks of this imposing mountain range.

Once more, nature really turns up the heat! This spot will blow your mind.

But the best comes at the end, the mighty and big - the Pale di San Martino.

With every turn, their message sinks deeper into your thoughts: "Just forget what you have seen of the Dolomites so far, the most beautiful part is yet to come".

However, don't let these romantic thoughts distract you on the racy descent to San Martino, which leads down over alpine meadows from Passo Rolle.

The panorama is still unique, but the view should be better on the rough trails and cart tracks leading to the finish at 1500 meters altitude.

There is still time to enjoy the view of the mountains from the village - until the Dolomite Theatre closes an epic, three-day chapter.
