Description

A sprint through Tirol - A short stage to get rolling.

The route leads from Innsbruck, the capital of Tirol at the Inn, past Bergisel on the Brenner federal road towards the Brenner Pass.

About 850 metres of altitude difference to the Italian border are evenly spread over almost 40 kilometres.

Therefore, no danger of any ramps on the first day.

The wattage at the crank are medium to low, especially when it goes from the Brenner via Sterzing to Brixen.

Rolling slightly downhill, pedalling along is almost always necessary.

Only the small mountain at the end has a slightly bigger incline.

However, this stage is very relaxed - a real warm up, which also connects two of the most beautiful cities of Tirol.
