Description

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort describes the Lower Faces Trail as a "quick and easy hike at lower elevation," one that is also quite popular among trail runners.

With countless ways to access the loop, this is one of the best short trail runs around, especially if you're short on time.

[This local source](https://www.jhnewsandguide.com/opinion/columnists/excursion/teton-village-has-perfect-trail-run-loop/article_58f1154f-2464-57b6-b703-78609099c05e.html) even reveres it as the "perfect trail run" for anyone staying in Jackson Hole. The run is easy to moderate by most standards and offers plenty of views of the Gros Ventre Range across the valley.

Other seasonal trails can be accessed from the loop, particularly the Bridges Trail, which ventures an additional mile to the northeast.

Check with the resort for the latest trail conditions, especially since many of these trails are only maintained for a short window each year. As mapped, the run begins at the base of the Aerial Tram, a short walk from many of the lodges and minutes from the Four Seasons Resort.

Labeled on some maps as a "connector" trail, the start of this trail winds through multiple ski slopes and lift clearings, switchbacking its way to the top of the Union Pass Quad.

From here, a well-marked intersection denotes the way. Sources: https://www.jhnewsandguide.com/opinion/columnists/excursion/teton-village-has-perfect-trail-run-loop/article_58f1154f-2464-57b6-b703-78609099c05e.html https://www.jacksonhole.com/hiking/hiking-teewinot.html
