This classic ski tour on St. Johanner's favourite mountain is a popular destination. You start at the Hahnbaum valley station and follow the announced ski tour no. 2. The first third is next to the piste but then you enter the terrain. Enjoy the magnificent view of St. Johann.

Description
You start at the valley station of the Hahnbaumslift (parking is available right next door) and go up the mountain on the right side of the slope.
As the piste is artificially snowed, snow is guaranteed even with little natural snow.
After about a third of the way you leave the piste and enjoy the tour in the woods and in the open countryside.
When you have reached the top of Hotel Hahnbaum, turn right into the forest.
Then the most beautiful piece awaits you! Enjoy the snowy landscape! The path ends at the Oberhahnbaum.
Then only the skins down and conquer the deep snow slope :-). good ski touring equipment necessary
