Description

This downhill track is flowy and super fun with lots of features, most notably a big road gap towards the end.

Fast Wood is part machine-groomed and part natural trail.

The top section from the lift consists of open alpine terrain that's rocky and barren, and the lower section is fabulously flowy through the trees with plenty of features all along the way.

The technical features include drops, gap jumps, other jumps, rock slabs, rock gardens, wooden features, rock rolls, roots, berms, and tight switchbacks.

The harder, technical features (gap jumps and the harder drops) have alternative options which reduce the difficulty rating to "Moderate" if taken, but they will still require the rider to be confident and talented. To access the trail, take the Olympique Gondola to Bellevarde summit.

Begin by following the Val Bleue trail for 500 meters.

The "Fast Wood" trail officially begins after the long wood barrier and the rocky chalet, on the right side, sign N°34. This route follows "Popeye" once "Fast Wood" ends back to street level. The lifts are only open July and August.
