On the well-marked path you don't run the risk of getting into an alpine emergency situation and don't have to fear oncoming traffic in the form of skiers or even piste equipment.

After a good hour's ascent, the beautiful panorama awaits you at the high wedge.

The 1782 m high summit offers a panoramic view from the Hochkönig massif over the Hohe Tauern to the Großvenediger group and upstairs there is also a gondola cabin where you can have a rest.

The tour is also a great experience for advanced skiers at night - a real night spectacle! The touring equipment is available for hire at the Arthurhaus, where regional delicacies await all tour hikers and anyone who wants to become one.
