Description

The Madrisa tour begins in Klosters-Dorf.

From there, the gondola lift to Madrisa, the new Schaffürggli chairlift and the Madrisa ironing lift will be used to reach 2500m.

From the Madrisa ski area you cross eastwards to the Schlappinerjoch (2203m) and then drive northwards down into the Valcienz valley.

Through this valley you reach Gargellen (1420m) in Montafon (Austria).

The chair lift (Schafbergbahn) and ski lift (Kristallbahn) take you back to an altitude of 2200m.

A short descent northwards along the valley descent to Gargellen is followed by a 45-minute ascent to the St.Antönier-Joch.

Touring equipment is required for this ascent.

A wonderful descent through the Alpeltitälli to St.

Antönien concludes the Madrisa round tour.

What in summer is a dreamlike 3-day tour can be experienced in winter effortlessly in one day, after a well deserved break in one of the cosy restaurants in St.

Antönien postbuses drive to Küblis.

There you can take the Rhaetian Railway back to Klosters-Dorf.

Timetable. Ski tours require good preparation (training / equipment etc.) and can only be undertaken in favourable weather and avalanche conditions.
