Description

Not for nothing does the Dachstein have the nickname "Austria's Touring Eldorado".

A total of 16 ski tours, transitions and steep descents will be tackled from the mountain station of the Dachstein Glacier Railway and from Ramsau. Going on a tour without appropriate preparation and equipment is reckless.

Not only is one's own life at risk, but also that of one's fellow mountaineers travelling in the same region.

Be there on the tour: Avalanche transceiver, mobile phone, shovel, avalanche probe, first aid kit, sufficient food and drinks, possibly additional clothing to change.

On the day of the tour: Read the avalanche situation report and weather report and check what effects it will have on the planned tour - adjust or cancel the tour if necessary.

Are all participants fit and healthy enough to go on the tour? If not, adjust or cancel the tour.
