Is the Radeckscharte still freeriding or already a ski tour? It is simply an in-between thing - simply freetouring par excellence.

The 300m ascent makes you just warm up and gives you the feeling of having done something.

And this in a very beautiful high mountain landscape.

But the showpiece is the descent: a perfect 1000 m high slope brings you into the Anlauftal.

The fact that there is a long way to go to the Böckstein railway station is a pleasure to accept after this enjoyment, and the train will take you back to Mallnitz. Usual ski touring and LVS equipment as well as crampons for the traverse above the rockfalls (!)
