A separate upwards trail has been created at the edge of the slope to avoid conflicts and risks between hikers and skiers.

A special tunnel has been built at one spot where the upwards trail crosses the slope. The probability of snowfall means that snow is guaranteed.

There is no risk of avalanche on the designated upwards trail.

Descent is via the ski slope. The climb ends at the level of the piston saddle hat.

There is the possibility of ascending as far as the Zahn across open country.
