Description

Start: car park just after the Jausenstation Oberthaler Walking time: approx.

2 hours - 600 m elevation gain Parking: car park just after the Jausenstation Oberthaler Take the path to the right of the car park uphill (following the signs direction Schatzberg).

At the second bend climb uphill to the Thaleralm.

Above the Alm continue gently uphill to the woods and then through open terrain uphill passing a stretch of forest up to the Zottaalm.

Stay on the flat path above the Zottaalm up to the path crossing (Krinnjoch).

Upon reaching the ridge, continue to the Schatzberg skiing area ski route up to the top station.

Follow the ridge past the Alpbach/Wildschönau connecting lift top station to the peak.

Descent: same as ascent
