The MARKER / VÖLKL ski touring trail to the Tegelberg was created in 2013. It enables the skiers to climb up the Tegelberg almost free of oncoming traffic. It was created in cooperation with the Tegelbergbahn due to the increasing number of skiers on the slopes. He was the first of his kind to serve to minimise risks in ski resorts and is still a model for other ski resorts in the Alpine region today. Numerous educational trail boards on ski touring themes, such as SPITZKEHE, LAWINENLAGEBERICHT, BEHAVIOUR IN THE FIELD, ... The ascent route starts at the Tegelbergbahn car park and starts on a separate forest path past the Mountain Lodge of the mountain guides, where the ORTOVOX LVS checkpoint is also located. At the Henkertanne junction you follow the Schutzengelweg through the forest up to the Rohrkopf hut. From there continue along the forest path and hiking trail to Grübel. Now parallel to the piste to the top station of the Tegelbergbahn. The descent then takes place via the most groomed ski slope into the valley.
