Tuesdays and Thursdays are ski touring evenings in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the car park of the Hausbergbahn, you follow the specially provided and prepared ascent track to the mountain station of the Hausbergbahn and then directly to the stop at the "Drehmöser 9". After that the Pisen are closed and will be prepared again for the next day's skiing operation. It is essential to stick to these times and to the closures of the other pistes. It happens again and again that ski tourers who are not familiar with the area ski on the wrong slopes. As the pistes are worked with snow groomers on strongly tensioned steel ropes, this behaviour can be life-threatening.

Description
The start is directly at the bottom station of the Hausbergbahn cable car on the left side of the building and in the direction of ascent on the right side of the piste.
Follow the signs for the "ascent route" first on the lower part of the Horn descent until you turn left to the Toni hut and continue flat on a wide path and then steeper on the standard Toni hut descent to the valley station of the Trögl lift.
Here you can already free the skis from the climbing falls and descend the last meters flat up to Drehmöser 9.
The descent back into the valley follows via Hornabfahrt.
