Description

The Corvatsch is well known to most freeriders, as its Northface is the venue of the Engadin Snow Contest.

This highly demanding and selective terrain is a clear no-fall zone which, due to the danger of falls and rockfalls, places the highest demands on orientation and requires a precise prior study of the route, preferably with coffee or hot chocolate from the terrace of the middle station.

Already the ascent over the ridge to point 3164 after a short, north-sided descent from the mountain station requires sure-footedness.

From here it is best to head towards the middle post of the gondola from where the slope can be accessed. avalanche equipment
