Description

This trail takes you along fields next to the main road to the Steirersiedlung - crosses the road in front of the "Schaupphof" farm, where there is an option to switch to a trail back to the Riesneralm carpark, or continue on towards the valley head to the Meng farm.

From here it is only approx.

150 m to Hinterwald resort village with refreshment opportunities at the village inn (take off your skis, the trail does not go all the way to the village).
