Description

Ravenna Park is named for its main natural feature: a spring-fed creek running through a ravine.

Due to the narrow canyon, Ravenna Park is “always 10 degrees cooler on a warm summer afternoon,” according to [ClubNorthwest.org](https://www.clubnorthwest.org/trail-running). According to RootsRated, this park "is conveniently located in the University District," making it a popular getaway for local runners and walkers alike.

While this small park is home to over 4.5 miles of trail, the most logical loop, anchored by the Ravenna Ravine trail, only clocks in at a quick 1.8 miles.

However, that shouldn’t dissuade you from running multiple laps if you’re looking for extra mileage! Sources: https://www.clubnorthwest.org/trail-running https://rootsrated.com/seattle-wa/trail-running/ravenna-park https://www.seattle.gov/parks/find/parks/ravenna-park
