The Viggarspitze is a peak on the ridge that leads from Patscherkofel to Glungezer.

It offers a very beautiful view into the Inn valley, over into the Karwendel and Stubai as well as into the vicinity of the Tuxer Alps.

If you want to do something for a snowshoe weekend with the Morgenkogel as your actual destination on the day of your arrival, this round is the best choice for you.

If you do without the summit structure and choose the way back via Boscheben for the descent, the tour is easy and feasible even in less good weather.

With summit and descent via Boscheben medium difficult direct descent via Viggar Hochleger, as described, very steep (difficult tour).

Only in safe conditions and good visibility.

Second day of a snowshoe weekend: Morgenkogel (2.607m). Snowshoe equipment with complete avalanche beacon equipment.
