Description

The Morgenkogel is the first of a series of peaks in the round valley head of the Mühltaler Bach and due to its proximity to the Meißner Haus a beautiful destination for snowshoe hikers.

Because of its considerable height, the Morgenkogel is also a great panoramic mountain with views of the Tuxer, Stubai and Kühtai, Karwendel and Wetterstein.

For the arrival day of a snowshoe weekend, the Viggarsspitze is a beautiful destination before the second day is spent climbing the Morgenkogel.
