Description

This tour can be done as a round trip from the parking lot of the Schneeberg chairlift and offers a great view of the valley from the Edelweiss hut.

Rent snowshoes at the valley station and climb the Schneeberg up to the thread saddle.

After a stop at the Edelweißhütte, enjoy the panorama at the end of the tour on the descent with the chairlift. Snowshoes, rucksack with rations, hiking boots suitable for winter, light, mobile phone, lighter, maps.

For small equipment breakdowns, a cable tie or a piece of wire is often enough for a makeshift repair.

It is recommended that you always take basic avalanche equipment with you in the mountains.
