Description

The round tour starts at the village bridge Andermatt and leads towards Unteralptal to Mettlen.

There is the highest point of the tour and at the same time its turning point; this is suitable for a short stop.

From here the view of the Gurschenbach icefall opens up.

On the way back you cross the valley descent of the Gurschen and pass the Schützenhaus Brunnen.

Here a view into the valley is worthwhile: It reaches as far as Hospental and into the Schöllenen.

We pass the Mariahilf Chapel and return to the starting point. snowshoes
