On this snowshoe trail, the mountains are upside down: the Unesco tour clearly illustrates how the Alpine folds pushed older people over younger rocks. Part of the Tectonic Arena Sardona is also the equally impressive Martinsloch.

Description

This wonderful 2.5 hour-tour leads you along the fascinating UNESCO world heritage-site.

The tectonic arena will show you a piece of impressive geological history .

The trail starts at Grauberg.

Walking through deep powder snow in an untouched landscape, your way leads you direction Piz Ofen and Laaxerstöckli.

Enjoy the unique panoramic view direction Tschingelhörner, as well as upper and lower Segnesboden. Well-functioning snowshoes, sticks with winter plates, good footwear, winter-proof clothing.

The wind can sensitively reduce the perceived temperature in winter: do not forget winter gloves, hat, thermos flask, etc.
