Description

This advanced level Fatbike trail takes a journey through some quiet nooks and crannies of the Coupeau forest.

Although this ride takes only around an hour on average there is some tight singletrack that will test the skill of most Fatbikers.

The 150 meters of vertical can efficiently be gained by riding up the road before heading into the forest.

From the village of Coupeau don't continue up the hill on the road to Le Bettey but instead go straight on until the road dead-ends.

From here there is a track descending into the forest.

There are a few possible variations following a spiders-web like network of trails in the area.

Deer are also commonly sited here in winter, especially early in the morning.

There is parking at the bottom of the road just across the railway line.
