Description

The word Gouilles means 'small lake' in an ancient local Savoyarde dialect and this engaging trail does indeed follow a loop around three small lakes.

These are discovered in succession as you ride around the full loop.

With a height difference of around 200 meters and some steep climbs, the trail takes around 2 hours to ride.

From the village of Le Vieux Servoz take the road towards Passy for 600 meters.

On the right side there is Saint Croix car park which gives access to the trail.

Some sections in the woods may be unrideable on the way up, but the reward is a fantastic descent and discovering the hidden 'Trois Gouilles'.
