Description

Right Gully is a good place to start for those who are nervous about the steep skiing on the headwall.

Right Gully is fairly wide, with a sustained pitch of 35 degrees.

To access Right Gully, climb it from the bottom.

There will almost certainly be a bootpack in the spring.

The top of Right Gully splits into about 3 narrow chutes, most people put there skis on before this.

From where you drop in from the Alpine Garden, these chutes are 5-10 feet wide separated by little trees.

These little chutes merge into one big, wide gully.

Be mindful of hikers, who are probably nervous as you ski down.

The pitch mellows out pretty quickly and you can enjoy good skiing on your way down.

Do not stop at the Lunch Rocks, continue to the very bottom of the bowl.

You may have to dodge small trees and shrubs on the way out.

The Lunch Rocks are exposed to falling ice and should be avoided, despite their inviting name.
