Description

The Little Headwall is a fun option to access the Sherburne Trail from "The Bowl".

At the bottom look for an obvious entrance to drainage gully.

It starts mellow, quickly rolling over to a steep chute.

This is typically the crux of the route, as it can have open water in places.

Below the Little Headwall, you will be funneled into a low angle ski trail, once past the Hillman's Highway exit, there is a tricky river crossing on a wooden plank, this brings you to The Sherbie.

The Little Headwall is a rare treat because it's plagued by open water more often than not.
