Description

The world of smugglers and muleteers can be explored in a wonderful landscape.

The two-day mountain hike around the Madrisa is an exciting journey of discovery on both sides of the Swiss-Austrian border.

The trail follows historical paths at altitudes between 1,900 and 2,600 metres.

A GPS device accompanies you and shows you the secrets of the smugglers and the hiding places of the so-called "coffee holes".

Already centuries ago a lively trade between the valleys of Montafon and Prättigau developed.

The state border made the trade illegal.

Today the path across the border is freely accessible and offers unique nature experiences and exciting stories. In Madrisa Land near the mountain station of the Madrisabahn (CH), children can let off steam, play and marvel.

There is a legend park with a giant slide, flying fox, climbing wall, petting zoo, pony riding and much more. *All information about the bookable package can be found at* www.schmugglertour.com ( http://www.schmugglertour.com ) equipment ankle-high mountaineering boots with good profile, hiking poles recommended
