Description

We get off the train on the Oberalp Pass.

What we discover first is the *Lighthouse,* which stands here as a symbol and representative of the source of the Rhine. We follow the natural road to the pass Tiarms, where we already reach the highest point of the tour.

A hiking trail now leads down into Val Val and past the pretty Maiensässen in Scharinas to Milez, one of the most beautiful vantage points in Val Tujetsch.

Reason enough to stop by "Sabi" in the *hut Las Palas* for a coffee with cake. On the way we go over *Mulinatsch* and *Pardatsch* down and up until we reach Sedrun.

If you like, you can make a detour down to the village.

We continue above the railway line and cross the railway viaduct at Bugnei.

We walk through the hamlet of Mompé Tujetsch from where Disentis can already be seen.

In Segnas we take our time to admire the pretty, sunburned houses, built in the typical Walser knit construction.

In *Acletta * we visit the church Maria Immaculata .

The altarpiece of the master Francesco Nuvolone, which was made in Milan in 1655, is well known. We end the hike on quiet roads and side roads.

Past the valley station of the Disentis3000 mountain railway and the sports centre until we reach the Disentis railway station. equipment Hiking poles are always recommended for valley hikes.
