The 16th stage of the trail along the Vienna Alpine Arc (WAB) is a wooded ridge hike on the roof of the Dürren Wand. The highlight is the "summit" of the Plattenstein, the Gauermannhütte. It opens a wonderful panoramic view to Pernitz.

Description

The stage leads over the Dürre Wand and its two attractions, the Erzloch Cave and the Tabler Cave, from the Öhlerschutzhaus to Pernitz, then northwards to the Plattenstein, from the Blickplatz Gauermannhütte you have an impressive 360° view of the surrounding landscape.

A very special place! The trail continues via Waidmannsfeld to Pernitz. equipment Mountain-fair equipment absolutely necessary! Please note that this tour leads into high alpine terrain. Always take suitable maps with you.
