Description

The chapel path begins at the south exit of Saas Grund.

It was built between 1708 and 1711 and shows the three rosary secrets in 15 wayside shrines.

The first five chapels, the Joyful Rosary, extend over a rocky spur along the valley slope.

The painful rosary climbs steeply over rock bosses before you reach the famous chapel "Zur Hohen Stiege" along the last five scenes, the Glorious Rosary.

From here there are 77 stone steps to the entrance of Saas Fee. equipment Normal hiking equipment.
