Description

The starting point, the *Pension Seiser Toni*, is already in the middle of the forest at the foot of the Hohe Wand.

A beautiful hike through mountain forests leads over the *Grafenbergsteig* up to the *Hohe Wand*.

On the *Großen Kanzel* our first destination is the *Wilhelm-Eicherthütte*.

At an altitude of 1,052 metres it is the highest Hohe Wand-Hütte and also one of the oldest shelters.

So you reach the summit at Plackles (1.135m) in a short time.

The cosy rest at the Eichert hut is in the sun veranda with a wonderful panoramic view of the Schneeberg, or in bad weather in the heated Stüberl nothing stands in the way.

Blunzn and Bratwürstel are served with it. The next hut is the *Turmsteighütte*, at an altitude of 1,025 metres, idyllically situated, surrounded by woods and meadows.

Here you can supposedly find the best Wiener Schnitzel on the Hohe Wand. The *Hubertushaus* (946m), situated directly on the Hochfallwand, is popular with climbers.

If you are hungry, you can enjoy not only the beautiful view, but also Kaspressknödel and Spinatnockerl. Hikers with mountain experience can also reach the huts on the Großer Kanzel via the Springlessteig, which starts in Zweiersdorf and leads to the Hubertushaus.

An ascent via the Wagnersteig is also possible.

These are easy via ferrata.

Those who have driven to the Hohe Wand by car can also reach the huts on the nature park circular hike "Auf Wildenauers Spuren" ( http://regio.outdooractive.com/oar-wiener-alpen/de/tour/wandertouren/naturpark-hohe-wand-rundwanderweg-auf-wildenauers-spuren/10954140/ ). equipment Wear suitable clothing and sturdy shoes.

Think of rain and sun protection.

Take enough to drink with you. Always take suitable *maps* with you.

Put on sturdy *shoes* adapted to the tour, take sun and rain protection, water and a snack.
